Garage legend Jeremy Sylvester releases classics and favourites of old and new in one massive 30-track compilation!

Anyone in tune with the UK Garage scene will know the name Jeremy Sylvester and his producer-DJ alias Club Asylum and how he’s been a mainstay in the genre from its birth up until now. All Saints, KC & JoJo, Kristine Blond, Ginuwine, Shola Ama and Taio Cruz – its safe to say Jeremy Sylvester has used his Club Asylum alias and worked it with some of the biggest artists of this generation when they were all at the top of their game.

His creative genius has had him championed throughout his career by the Godfather of UK Garage music Grant Nelson, also Roger Sanchez, Todd Edwards and MJ Cole! It’s safe to say Club Asylum is respected by his industry peers and has his name etched alongside theirs in the Garage Music Hall of Fame.

Jeremy Sylvester has continued releasing under the Club Asylum in recent times through his very own label Urban Dubz Music, and from this very label you can get your hands on a collection of the releases that are not only Club Asylum classics, but some of the very best and most distinguished Garage tracks to have been released with the release of this Garage Retro Album!

Included on the 30 track album are a collection of his signature energetic, funky and sexy Garage originals and remixes! Just some of the remixes include those for American superstar rapper Ginuwine and global artist Taio Cruz, his remix for super girl group All Saints and KC & JoJo’s ‘Tell Me It’s Real’. The album gets a dose of an absolute classic of classics with Club Asylum’s remix of Kristine Blond’s ‘Love Shy’, with this very Club Asylum remix still being played in clubs and radio stations as of today! Featured on the album also are ‘You’re A Freak’ and ‘Stop By’ – 2 bootlegs released on White Label vinyl that launched Club Asylum into the spotlight and had major labels across the globe wanting him to work with their artists. It’s not just Club Asylum that is Jeremy’s only recognized Garage alias. Miles Fontaine, Sly, Strictly Dubz and Groove Connection are just a few, and these and others are all featured on the album – different names but the same quality bumping, funky Garage vibes!

As antique as music goes, you cannot get more valuable than this! This really is a history of and inspired many musicians of today. Now, dug up and polished off, this isn’t just your chance to listen to what defined Club Asylum, it’s what defined Garage, of which the legacy still lives on today.
